Plant Medicine Hike

This hike will be led by Kentucky clinical herbalist Myron Hardesty, RH (AHG), and will share knowledge on the history of plant medicine in Kentucky. Myron is a trained Physician Assistant and designated Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalists Guild. He has been practicing Clinical Herbalism through Weeds of Eden for over 25 years.
The historic Grayson Springs trail system was originally designed by a hydropathic physician in the 1830s as one of the healthcare interventions of the mineral springs resort. We’ve spent two years redeveloping these trails, and are excited for the community to walk the same trails as their ancestors for our inaugural community event.

Bring your friends, family, and picnic blankets to enjoy a Grayson Springs field day! Celebrate the season with WKY Bluegrass, an old fashioned square dance, and country/honky tonk band Tyler Lance Walker Gill and more! Bluegrass BBQ food truck will offer tasty treats, and we’ll offer tours of the grounds and invite families to explore our growing trails system. We look forward to seeing our neighbors enjoy the natural beauty of our local landmark.
